Oh how true!! And given the chance, I'd do it all over again. I wake up every morning with a big smile on my face and can't believe I'm here!! Thought I'd give you all a look into my world :) be kind, It's only been a week :)
My crickity crackity old front door, inviting you in :)
This is the living and dining room. Still lacking curtains and things, but you get the idea :)


And my kitchen. Love, love, love being in here. It's bright and cheerful and I have my GREEN CABINETS!!

And the lovely antique candy makers cabinet. Aint she a beaut??
And Mr. Wallace, sooo happy to be home :)

Sorry such a short post but I have plenty more unpacking and organizing to do! I'll share more details on the house next week.

    OH DORIS!!!!! I. AM.DYYYING.~~ GREEN with envy!!! LOVE IT! and just shush with the "it's only been a week" business. It looks more put together than most could do in a lifetime!! I know the wait has been long for her and you....but you have done ya both right! GREAT JOB girl (and Rohair!!!) Can't wait for more !!
    p.s. Am I spotting a few repurposed items that are familiar to me???? hehe!

    Ummm, I've been in my house 6 months and it doesn't look half that great! Good job sister! We wouldn't expect anything less from the decorating guru.

    Love everything...it is just GORGEOUS! I am saving it to my favorites...someday I may copy your kitchen...it is may all time favorite...so glad you chose the green!

    I could sit in your kitchen ALL day-I'm in love:) Your green cabinets are the prettiest I have seen and you have a way of making everything so cozy and beautiful. AND the kitchen WINDOW.....Even prettier in person!!
    Amazing-don't be surprised when 3 little girls come knocking with their suitcases..they are in love too....with the house, and its owners:)

    Hey there...I don't even know how I stumbled upon your blog now, but wow, am I glad I did...it's beautiful and so is your home you and the hubby did a fantastic job...I love old homes too, I don't live in one, but I'm always dreamin'.... if I never have my dream come true of having an old home...I still want a home with old charm and vintage flair...there's just something special about homes like that. I want you to know that it's so nice to meet you and I'll be back to visit you again soon :)

    Please tell me.. Do you like your wood island? Im replacing my formica Island and was in love with the wood. I think it may be to much maintenace. Im thinking granite in a honed finish
