As I took a closer look I couldn't believe it. Every morning when I walk to my local coffee shop with Wallace I would pass these laying all over the ground. JACKPOT!!
So last Friday I took a bag with me and brought home the loot! Aren't they the CUTEST?? I love them, and keep putting them all over the house :)
The blog had a lot of information on them, numero uno- they aren't edible. But who cares right?? They're GORG!! :)
Oh and another happy I learned about this week: this fantastic nail polish. It's the best grey color ever! I read about it here. (again, scroll down to Oct. 14 post) Thanks Ashlyn!
I don't know if you read about the polish on my blog or on another blog....but, I'm glad you like the color too! It's the perfect grey!
ReplyDeleteI love all the pictures of your house, and can't wait to see more.

Oh my goodness YES!! It was your blog!! Thanks so much Ashlyn! I'll fix that :)
ReplyDeleteDorie,
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet....you didn't have to worry about putting it your post...I was just happy someone saw the polish and liked it too. It is great to know that someone is actually looking at the blog once and awhile:)!!

I have never seen those osage orange thingys, but I want some. You may see a crazy lady scouring Mesa streets..it's just me ;)
ReplyDeleteI need to know where your favorite coffee shop is, because I love the way that orange looks on the milk glass urn. I have three of those and they would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteOk Miss M, I'm gonna give it up. The secret tree is on the south west corner of Robson and 1st street in downtown Mesa. Enjoy!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd the cutest coffee shop? Inside the Bungalow, on Robson just south of first street on the west side :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful grey for fall...i have it too. although its chipping now and needs to be redone. Whenever my nails are all chipped up I feel like teenage angst! anyway...beautiful blog.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we actually have these in Arizona--I was sure I'd only ever seen them in the Midwest!! But do we not call them 'horse apples'? That's how I learned it. Going to have to go and scoop some up now......... :)
