Extra! Extra! Read all about it!! ....:)

SQUEEEEEEL!! Here she be! The newest latest and greatest love of my life:)
She was born in 1922 and I love her:)
Aaaand, she just so happens to be right across the street from my old place:)
I TOLD you my world is very small!!

She's adorable, but definitely in need of some lovin:)
While I was at work last Tues, the hubby up and decided to move us in.
Yep. For the first time in 25 years, we're gonna LIVE in the renovation.
We crazy like that:)

Here's my lovely back porch. Everyone laughs when I say this- but I'm not kidding this time! We are NEVER, EVER, EVER moving again!! EVER. EVER!!

I did get a little treat today:) say hello to my new fab WHITE washer and dryer. What? Isn't every one's laundry room on the back porch?? The delivery guy looked at me like I was completely insane when I told him to hook them up there. And he's right, I was insane. I hadn't done laundry in a week. And for me? that's complete insanity.
The white beauties need only to hang there on the porch for a few months till they can move inside to their newly renovated laundry room:)

Oh! And I reunited with this cutie that I bought from Sweet Salvage a while back. She went straight to storage when I got her, so I hardly remembered what she looked like!
Is she a-dorie-able or what!!??

Sooo, needless to say I'm going crazy over here trying to get this new place all set up!
I promise pics and deets next week!! :)

    1. Actually, my son is living with us and decided to sell the little tiny. Weeell, when I mentioned it to a friend, she had her friend come look at it and she bought it! Just like that!! It never even hit the market:) The new place is 2200 sq.ft. I think? With a cute little guest house in the back:)

  10. Hooray!!! So excited for you! I've thought of you often, running along your street in preparation for the Phx Marathon (which will run right by you in a few weeks...heads up...a few thousand people!) and wondering if one of those beauties was going to be yours!!! Congrats- can't wait to see you work your magic!

  11. I know how much you loved that neighborhood so I'm glad you get to be there again! I just realized a week ago that the place I go for physical therapy is three blocks north of the Teeny Tiny. I was going to see if I could stop by before an appointment but I guess that's not an option anymore! Congratulations on the new house!

    1. THAT'S the million dollar question! The houses around here rarely go up for sale. I'll keep my ears and eyes open and let you know if any do!

Take it from someone who's lived in a reno site it's not alot of fun at times.
I'm sure it will all be beautiful.
    Kind Regards
    Karen
PS: I'm never ever renovating again the odd paint job a little rearranging but NO RENOVATING

  20. Zowie...super excited to see this house start to finish! I'm from Crazy Weather Central (aka Indiana), can you really leave your washer and dryer outside in AZ?! I'd love to have my son in the guest house :)

  21. I know you will be able to make this place look wonderful, too.
I have been adding greens to my home after reading your blog-love all
the greens you have. I started moving the blue in my house out-a little
at a time. I live in Florida-pale blues, aqua, sand and indigo have been
a great color choice for our home's interiors. I have 3 sons, too-so blue
was a given. But I am happy to see some green!
